The Four Star Process
Step 1 - Preparation
We prepare the floor surface using a Diamond grinder and or controlled chemical etching. We take precaution to keep the dust down to a minimum. This preparation process is paramount to achieving a porous and contaminant free floor surface that will allow our epoxy to penetrate and bond to the floor surface.
Step 2 - Application
We fill divots, cracking and pitting using an Epoxy caulk filler that is troweled over and sanded to a smooth finish, and then we apply 100% Industrial Epoxy to the floor using a Squeegee or industrial epoxy roller pad, depending on which application will work best on your floor.
Step 3 - Finishes
We will then apply an anti skid resistant sand called aluminum oxide. Last step is to apply colored micro chips to give character and help with grip. This whole process from start to finish can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days, depending on the current shape of the floor.
